An iPhone can do much more than the Kindle and is much easier to carry around. So, why would developers publish books? They already have and the count keeps growing. Social Jitney Inc (www.socialjitney.com) has developed e-book readers targeted for iPhone users. These e-book readers allow users read their favorite books with ease of use, navigation controls, bookmarks, zoom features and porting to social networks like Facebook.
There are other iPhone book readers in the market including Free iPhone eBooks, which has a limited selection of classics. With millions of iPhones sold the question remains “why buy a Kindle when you can buy an iPhone or iPod Touch?
